Hot melt adhesive powder has excellent properties such as high bonding strength, soft hand feel, good resilience, and high water resistance. It is widely used in the composite and heat transfer printing industries of elastic textiles, leather, shoe materials, and carpets.
Hot melt powder can be divided into coarse powder, medium powder, and fine powder; From the perspective of stretchability, it can be divided into low elasticity powder and high elasticity powder; Hot melt adhesive powder, also known as thermoplastic polyurethane, is a low-temperature thermoplastic that begins to soften in warm water at 50 degrees Celsius. It can be reused multiple times and quickly becomes soft and transparent at 60-100 ° C. It can be molded and flipped freely, and has good operability. After slowly cooling, it will return to a white semi transparent state with high strength, good elasticity, and no deformation.
In terms of hand feel: For general T-shirts and hoodies, medium powder is sufficient. However, for some customers who have special requirements for hand feel, fine powder with better glue should be used. But if ironing denim or cotton/linen fabrics, it is recommended to use coarse powder.
In terms of shaking powder: coarse powder is better than medium powder, and medium powder is better than fine powder. However, the amount of sticky powder per square meter may be slightly higher for coarse powder.
Hot melt adhesive powder is suitable for storage in a cool and dry place.
